1. Information We Collect

We only collect the absolute minimum information required to operate the Rolonote service:

  • Account Information: We collect your email address and authentication credentials to secure your account.
  • Subscription Data: Stripe handles your payment details directly. We use their secure API to verify whether your subscription is active and grant you software access, and we never store your full card number on our servers.
  • User-Generated Content: By default, the notes, tags, reminders, and statuses you create in Rolonote stay on your device. If you turn on sync or use the mobile app, we store the content needed to sync it across your devices.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used strictly to provide the Rolonote service. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or your user-generated notes to third parties. Our business model is built on selling great software rather than analyzing your network traffic, and we never use your private notes to train public AI models.

3. Third-Party Integrations

Rolonote currently works with Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn through our browser extension. Rolonote is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by these social platforms, and we only process profile identifiers when needed to display your notes next to the correct profiles.

If you choose to use our optional AI features, the data you submit for summarization is sent securely to your chosen AI provider (e.g., Google, Groq) for the purpose of generating that summary. Each provider processes that data under its own terms and privacy policy, so you should review the provider you choose before enabling the feature.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Rolonote software, including our browser extensions and mobile applications, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

2. License and Acceptable Use

Rolonote grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our software for your personal or business networking purposes. You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software.
  • Use the software for spam, automated scraping, or violating the terms of service of the social platforms.
  • Share or resell your account credentials.

3. Access, Billing, and Early-Access Pricing

Rolonote is digital software, so Stripe returns you to a secure Rolonote account-setup page immediately after checkout. Nothing physical is shipped.

Subscriptions are billed through Stripe and can be cancelled at any time, with Rolonote Standard locked at $53/month while that rate is displayed on our page and at checkout.

Early-access pricing is locked for the first 500 subscribers who join while the offer is active and maintain an ongoing subscription. If you cancel and resubscribe later, the standard rate at that time will apply.

The software is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. Because our service relies on the structure of third-party platforms, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted functionality if those platforms change their code or policies.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Rolonote or its founders be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the software.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation

You may cancel your Rolonote subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting support. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the software until the end of your current paid billing cycle and will not be charged again.

2. Seven-Day First-Month Guarantee

If Rolonote is not a fit, submit a support request within seven days of your first purchase to cancel your subscription and receive a full refund of your first monthly payment.

After the seven-day guarantee window, subscription payments are generally non-refundable once access has been provided, except where required by law or in the case of unresolved billing or access issues.

3. Technical Disputes

If a technical issue prevents you from accessing the software, submit an access request. We will investigate and work to restore access. If we cannot resolve the access issue, we may issue a refund.
