1. Information We Collect

We only collect the absolute minimum information required to operate the Rolonote service:

  • Account Information: We collect your email address and authentication credentials to secure your account.
  • Subscription Data: We track your subscription status through Stripe to grant you access to the software. We do not store your full credit card numbers on our servers.
  • User-Generated Content: The notes, tags, reminders, and statuses you create using our software are securely stored in our database so they can sync across your devices.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used strictly to provide the Rolonote service. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or your user-generated notes to third parties. Our business model is selling great software, not snooping on your network. We also do not use your notes to train public AI models.

3. Third-Party Integrations

Rolonote interacts with third-party platforms (like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn) through our browser extension. Rolonote is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by these platforms. We only read data from these platforms when necessary to attach your notes to the correct profiles.

If you choose to use our optional AI features, the data you submit for summarization is sent securely to your chosen AI provider (e.g., Google, Groq) strictly for the purpose of generating that summary. It is not used to train their models.

4. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Rolonote software, including our browser extensions and mobile applications, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

2. License and Acceptable Use

Rolonote grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our software for your personal or business networking purposes. You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software. (Seriously, there are much more fun things to do on the internet).
  • Use the software for spamming, automated scraping, or violating the terms of service of third-party platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Share or resell your account credentials.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

The software is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. Because our service relies on the structure of third-party platforms, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted functionality if those platforms change their code or policies.

4. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Rolonote or its founders be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the software.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation

You may cancel your Rolonote subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting support. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the software until the end of your current paid billing cycle. You will not be charged again.

2. Refund Policy

Rolonote is a digital software product. Because you can't exactly pack pixels into a cardboard box and ship them back to us, we generally do not offer refunds once you have accessed the software.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you are purchasing immediate access to digital content and software tools, and as such, standard refund or chargeback claims for "item not received" do not apply.

3. Technical Disputes

If you experience a catastrophic technical failure that prevents you from accessing the software entirely, please contact us within seven (7) days of your purchase. We will investigate the issue and, at our sole discretion, may issue a refund if we cannot resolve the technical barrier.
